KAWMET is a family-owned company with a long-standing tradition, operating continuously since 1981. Over the years, we have gained experience in foundry work, passed down from generation to generation. Initially, we focused on the production of cast iron components for the heating industry, and over time we have become experts in manufacturing cast iron fireplace inserts, wood-burning stoves, and high-specification industrial castings.
Our products are appreciated for their exceptional design, high quality, and competitive pricing, earning recognition both in Poland and on international markets. Guided by quality principles, we have implemented a Quality Management System compliant with the ISO 9001 standard.

Fireplace Inserts and Freestanding Stoves

KAWMET Foundry offers a wide range of conventional wood-burning fireplace inserts in the STANDARD ECO and PREMIUM classes, as well as freestanding cast iron stoves in the STANDARD ECO and PREMIUM ECO classes.

The inserts and stoves are made of high-quality grey cast iron grades EN-GJL-150 and EN-GJL-200, depending on the level of exposure to fire. Thanks to the use of the most modern casting methods, carefully refined design in every detail, and high-quality cast iron with wall thicknesses of 8–10 mm, we can guarantee exceptional durability and reliability of our products.

All our cast iron inserts are designed for continuous operation.

All our products have been tested by Notified Body No. 1450 – the Oil and Gas Institute.

Thanks to their aesthetic appearance, high efficiency, and reliability—combined with competitive pricing—our stoves are highly popular among customers both in Poland and abroad. OUR HISTORY

• 1981 - Company founded by Mr. Stanisław Kawiński
  (first location in Wapowce) – production mainly focused on cast iron radiators
• 1995 - New direction
  Introduction of new products – cast iron fireplace inserts and stoves
• 2005 - Relocation of the plant to Orły
  The new production facility is equipped with a horizontal molding line AFI 86, an Eirich turbine mixer, two induction furnaces with a capacity of 2×2 tons, and two cupola furnaces. Automated and semi-automated production – 100 employees
• 2009 - Installation of the DISAMATIC 2013A machine
  The automatic molding line immediately increased production capacity, efficiency, and casting quality
• 2015 - Installation of the DISAMATIC 2070B machine
  Significant expansion of the product range thanks to one of the largest automatic molding lines with a pattern plate size of 950×800 mm
• 2018 - Relocation of the foundry to Zadąbrowie
  The foundry in Orły reached its maximum production capacity, and further development required new investment. The new, modern foundry in Zadąbrowie enabled KAWMET to become a leader among foundries in Poland
• 2021 - Construction of a new production hall
• 2024-2026 - Investment plans
  4 MW solar power plant, 2×6 t induction furnace, 3,000 m² high-bay warehouse with loading docks, and more
