Morso 7370 Wall-Hung Cast Iron Stove
Morso 7370 is a freestanding cast iron stove from the Danish brand Morso with a nominal output of 4.3 kW, sized for rooms of up to 105 m². In this version the stove is mounted on a wall bracket. Thermal efficiency is 82.3 %, energy class A+.
The body weighs 108.5 kg and is made entirely of cast iron. Cast iron heats up more slowly than steel but keeps releasing heat long after the fire has burnt down — the room temperature does not swing between refuellings. A flat front pane shows the firebox head-on. The model meets Ecodesign requirements and the criteria of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

Wall mounting — clear of the floor
The stove is mounted on a wall bracket. The floor beneath the stove stays free, which tidies up the room and makes cleaning far easier — in a small space you recover tens of centimetres of usable floor. This version requires a wall with adequate load capacity; the fixing method and required clearances to combustible materials are given in the manufacturer's manual.
Is 4.3 kW enough for my house?
The model is rated for roughly 105 m² with standard insulation and a ceiling height of 2.5–2.7 m. In a poorly insulated building, one with large glazed areas or a higher ceiling, the real figure will be lower — in that case pick the next power class up. An oversized stove is just as troublesome, though: for most of the season it runs on a low flame, which soots up the glass and the flue faster.
Will it work in a house with heat recovery ventilation?
Yes. The stove has a factory external combustion air supply, so it does not draw air from the room and does not compete with mechanical ventilation for it. The spigot is led out at the rear or underneath the body. In an airtight building this is a condition of correct operation — without its own air supply, ventilation can reverse the flue draught.
What chimney and space does the stove need?
A flue of Ø150 mm, with the outlet at the top or rear. The stove measures 440 × 696 × 378 mm (W × H × D) and weighs 108.5 kg — check the load capacity of the floor before installation. The wall-hung version additionally requires a wall with adequate load capacity. Required clearances to walls and combustible materials are given in the manufacturer's manual, available in the documents section on this page.
What fuel should be used?
The fuel is seasoned hardwood with a moisture content of up to 20 %. Wet wood gives noticeably less heat, smokes up the glass and speeds up soot deposits in the flue. Chipboard, painted or impregnated timber and waste must not be burnt in this stove — they shorten the life of the cast iron and void the warranty.
