These Terms set out the rules for using the Website and the types and scope of services provided by electronic means, in accordance with Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.

2. The nature of this website — we do not sell online

The Website is informational and presentational. We present products of the KAWMET, SAVEN and Morsø brands and make it possible to contact us.

No order can be placed and no purchase can be made on the Website. There is no cart, no online payment and no shipping of goods. Information about products and prices presented on the Website does not constitute an offer within the meaning of Article 66 of the Polish Civil Code; it is an invitation to conclude a contract.

Purchases are made from authorised representatives or directly from the distributor. The terms of sale, delivery and payment are set by the seller with whom the contract is concluded.

3. What services we provide by electronic means

  • Access to Website content — browsing product descriptions, articles and contact details. Free of charge, no registration, provided on a one-off basis and ending when you leave the Website.
  • Contact form and call-back request — sending an enquiry and receiving a reply. Free of charge, provided on a one-off basis, ending when the reply is given.
  • Representative finder — showing sales points in a selected region.
  • Commercial information — only after separate, voluntary consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

All services are free of charge.

4. Technical requirements

To use the Website you need:

  • a device with internet access;
  • a current web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled;
  • an active e-mail address or phone number — if you want to receive a reply to an enquiry.

Using the internet involves risks typical of the network, in particular the possibility of malicious software. We recommend using up-to-date security software.

5. Rules of use

When using the Website you must not supply unlawful content, including content that infringes the rights of third parties, is offensive or misleading, or contains malicious software.

You must not take actions that disrupt the operation of the Website — in particular automated, bulk sending of enquiries through the forms.

You may stop using the Website at any time. If you subscribed to commercial information, you can opt out by withdrawing your consent — a message to rodo@kawmet.pl is enough.

6. Complaints about the website

Complaints related to the functioning of the Website — for example technical errors or no reply to an enquiry you sent — can be submitted:

  • by e-mail: info@kawmet.pl;
  • in writing to the registered address given in section 1.

Please describe the problem and provide your contact details. We handle complaints within 14 days of receipt and reply within the same period.

Complaints about purchased products — warranty and lack of conformity of the goods with the contract — are described separately on the Warranty page. Rights arising from a lack of conformity of the goods with the contract are handled by the seller from whom the purchase was made.

7. Copyright

The content of the Website — texts, photographs, technical drawings, trade marks and page layout — is protected by copyright and industrial property law. Using it beyond permitted personal use requires our consent.

8. Personal data

The rules for processing personal data and using cookies are described in the Privacy policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms for important reasons — for example a change in the law or in the scope of the services provided. Amended Terms are published on the Website together with the date they take effect. A change does not affect services performed before it took effect.

10. Final provisions

Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code, the Act on the provision of services by electronic means and — in relation to consumers — the Consumer Rights Act.

A consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, including the online dispute resolution platform ODR available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Their use is voluntary.

This is a translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Polish version of these Terms prevails.
